Before founding School of Mathematic Excellence, Alice was Head of Year and Second in Department at busy secondary schools across Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

After an unexpected cancer diagnosis in 2022, she stepped away from school teaching to start her own specialist maths tuition business, combining expert curriculum knowledge with genuine care. Passionate about making tuition accessible to all, Alice built S.o.M.E. to offer high-quality, flexible support for every budget. Today, she leads a handpicked team of expert teachers and examiners who are dedicated to helping every student succeed through great teaching and meaningful relationships.

We are proud to work only with highly qualified and experienced maths specialists. Because we set the bar so high, we rarely recruit, and that is why our classes are full every year. We believe in quality over quantity so your child always gets the best support possible, and we have consistent proven results to show for it.
