Small Group Maths Classes

Expert-led small group maths tuition for KS3, GCSE, and A Level students. Whether boosting confidence, filling gaps, or pushing for top grades, our classes are tailored to ability and provide the right level of challenge to help every student make meaningful progress. We offer options for all budgets, from low-cost booster sessions to intensive twice-weekly accelerator programmes, all taught in small, supportive group settings.

KS3/GCSE BOOSTER CLASSES

Our low cost booster sessions are among our most in demand offerings and sell out every year. Designed for students who would benefit from a little extra support and structure in maths, these classes are a great way to boost confidence, fill in any gaps, and develop stronger problem-solving skills. Suitable for all abilities across Key Stage 3 and GCSE, we offer classes from Year 7 through to Year 11, with groups carefully set to ensure the right level of challenge for every student.

GCSE ACCELERATOR CLASSES (Foundation and Higher)

These sessions are designed for students who are two or more grades below their target GCSE maths grade and need intensive, focused support to close the gap. With smaller group sizes, longer lessons, and classes running twice a week, students benefit from increased contact time and deeper teaching — ideal for securing long-term understanding and improving retention. This structure helps to build confidence, reinforce key skills, and create meaningful progress over time.

  • 2 x 50 min sessions per week

  • Micro class of 6

  • Significant 1:1 support every session

A/AS LEVEL BOOSTER CLASSES

Our A Level groups are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of just six students per class, allowing for personalised support and meaningful discussion. Each session runs for a full hour and is tailored to help students strengthen their understanding, boost confidence, and excel in the demands of AS and A Level maths.

We asked our students what the strengths of our group classes were. This is what they said:

  • The amount of practice and repetition, and also the mixed revision in the lead up to exams as it meant we were always going over different topics so we didn’t forget anything.

  • You get help with every question you ask for.

  • Being able to ask questions about things I'm stuck on via the chat box. I'm quite shy and don't like speaking aloud, so having this option made me feel comfortable from the beginning in a group setting where I didn't know anyone.

  • Having ‘focus mode’ on Zoom activated meant only Alice could see me, so I never had to worry about anyone else watching. It made it way less stressful to ask questions or make mistakes, I could just concentrate on learning.

  • Completing real life exam questions every session, and having 2 levels of difficulty available.

  • Being able to request topics that I was struggling with in school, and getting lots of 1:1 support.

  • The GCSE revision bank provided was amazing! There were so many great resources in one place that I could use to prepare for my exams.

  • Head to our reviews and results page to see how our group students perform in their exams.
